Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation
The pediatric outpatient rehabilitation programs, located downtown and in the medical center, offer individualized care for children in an environment designed for therapeutic intervention and play. The clinics offer a wide array of pediatric equipment and assessment tools to help the therapists provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans.
Our outpatient programs are designed for children who are medically stable but have experienced an injury, illness or birth defect. Our patients include children with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burns, neonatal developmental disorders, multiple trauma, rheumatologic and musculoskeletal disorders and amputations.
The pediatric rehabilitation team works with multiple diagnoses toward one ultimate goal: Maximize the children’s functional potential while assisting them to become fully integrated into the home, community and school environment.
